AMANO Group

In my role during this project, I was actively involved in conceptualizing and designing the in-room tablet interface as part of the rollout of SuitePad’s Stay Manager. I helped redesign the UI to align with AMANO’s brand identity and user behavior patterns—focusing on intuitive navigation, clear action points (like ‘skip room cleaning’ or ‘order breakfast’), and a seamless guest experience.

Additionally, I collaborated with the technical team to rework the installation logic across 11 AMANO properties (over 1,200 rooms), ensuring consistent functionality, performance, and visual continuity across devices. I also supported the setup of location-specific features, like in-app restaurant bookings and local service options.

The results spoke volumes: AMANO Grand Central saw a 78% increase in breakfast orders within the first month of launch, and the Green Option feature led to a 143% rise in skipped room cleanings—delivering measurable cost savings and advancing AMANO’s sustainability goals. Guest interaction exceeded expectations, with tablets used more than 25 hours per day and strong engagement across all touchpoints.

This project taught me how smart UX and detail-oriented implementation can make digital tools both practical and profitable in hospitality environments.
